Wajdan e Mohabbat Episode 4 by Pakeeza Tayyaba

About this novel

Wajdan e Mohabbat Episode 4 by Pakeeza Tayyaba brings the office drama of this romantic Urdu novel to a boil. There is a public insult, a hero who takes a stand and a dangerous promise of revenge.

The episode opens with Aqib gripping Fariya’s hand and saying in a thundering voice, “Apni hadd mein raho, yeh mera office hai.” The whole staff stops to watch. Fariya cannot believe he is angry with her because of an employee. Because of that girl, she says, her expensive mobile broke, and instead of apologising the girl was answering back, so Fariya only showed her her “auqaat.”

Aina stands there unable to lift her head, trying to swallow her tears from the shame of being humiliated in front of everyone, until one tear finally rolls down her cheek. Aqib does not back down. No mobile is worth more than someone’s self-respect, he tells Fariya, and if she ever calls any of his employees a “mulazim” again, she will be responsible for what happens. He tells her to apologise to Aina. Fariya scoffs, “Main, aur is do takke ki…,” but he cuts her off, calmly asks Aina to go back to her work, and reminds Fariya that he has no family ties with her that give her the right to follow him to his office.

Fariya leaves with a burning face, and Aqib tells his staff, “Aap log apna kaam karein, koi movie nahin chal rahi.” In her car, speeding through the streets, Fariya swears revenge: she will make Aqib kneel, fill his eyes with hatred for Aina, and never forget today’s insult. Pakeeza Tayyaba ends the episode with the feeling that a storm is coming for both Aqib and Aina.
