Wajdan e Mohabbat Episode 10 by Pakeeza Tayyaba

About this novel

Wajdan E Mohabbat Episode 10 (Urdu: وجدانِ محبت – قسط ۱۰) by Pakeeza Tayyaba continues Aqib’s Urdu family romance at a dramatic turning point. His wife Aina has disappeared, his family is stunned, and Aqib knows more than he is willing to say.

The episode opens just after a dramatic confrontation. Faria walks away in disbelief, her face drained of colour, and Aqib embraces his father, Shahid Sahib, crying silently. His brother Haris tries to comfort him – “Bhai, you did the right thing; we’ll find Bhabhi, don’t lose heart.” But his mother, Shafaq Begum, is still in shock, and says something that stops everyone: “Beta, you search for someone who is lost – not for someone who is hiding.” Aqib says nothing; what could he tell his mother?

Hira suggests going to the police, but Shafaq Begum refuses at once – if the police are involved, the media will get hold of it and the family’s name will be dragged through the mud. Just then the chowkidar brings an envelope addressed to Aqib. He snatches it before Haris can finish speaking, reads it, smiles faintly, closes his eyes and prays: “Ya Allah, I’m handing her life over to You now – her safety is in Your hands.” When his father asks what the papers are, Aqib only says they’re Aina’s reports and everything is clear, then walks tiredly to his room without explaining.

“ڈھونڈا اسے جاتا ہے جو کھو گیا ہو، اسے نہیں جو چھپ کر بیٹھا ہو۔”

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Yasir finishes telling Aina the whole story and asks, “Should I tell him now? He’s in a lot of pain.” Aina is too stunned to speak. Her sister Iman walks in with a tray and asks why they both look so serious. Yasir jokes that he was complaining about her, then leaves the sisters alone, offering to look after the children. Iman gently asks Aina what he said and hands her a glass of juice.

This episode is full of suspense and emotion, and it moves the central love story closer to its resolution. Read it after the earlier episodes for the full effect.
