Wajdan E Mohabbat Episode 6 (Urdu: وجدانِ محبت – قسط ۶) by Pakeeza Tayyaba follows the tense aftermath of Aqib’s sudden decision about Aina. She has fainted from stress, his parents are divided, and the two of them face each other for the first time as husband and wife.

The episode opens in the lounge. Shahid Sahib, seeing his son come down the stairs looking anxious, hides his own displeasure and walks over. “Aqib, how is Aina?” “Weak and stressed, Dad – she fainted. The doctor has given her an injection. I’m getting the driver to bring her medicines.” Aqib rushes out, and his parents watch him go with regret. This, they realise, is a very different Aqib – this is Aina’s Aqib.

Shafaq Begum, shaking her head, says the boy has gone mad, and tells her husband to call Hira home from her sister’s house – she should be here now. Shahid Sahib suggests letting Hira stay where she is; he doesn’t even want the shadow of this girl falling on his daughter. Shafaq Begum gently reminds him that the girl is also somebody’s daughter, and, mashallah, of very good character. Shahid Sahib walks off toward his study.

Upstairs, Aina slowly opens her eyes to find Aqib leaning over her, still caught in the words he spoke in front of everyone. “Aina, how are you feeling now?” he asks with such intensity that she forgets to blink. When she remembers what happened, she turns her face away in anger and is too weak even to get up. “I’ll order some food – what will you eat?” he asks. “Poison,” she answers in a single word. He smiles: “Tell me, I’ll order it.” She turns to stare at him in surprise, and he teases her that she always seems to be eating his brain, so he’ll get something from a good brand instead – “Begum, you deserve something special.” “Go away from here,” she says. “This is my room – I’m not going anywhere,” he replies calmly, and she says she’ll leave then.

A short, dramatic episode that shows Aqib’s stubborn devotion and Aina’s hurt pride.
