Wajdan E Mohabbat Episode 8 (Urdu: وجدانِ محبت – قسط ۸) by Pakeeza Tayyaba is a lighter, romantic episode of this Urdu series, set on a wedding day. Aqib can’t take his eyes off his bride, Aina, and his sister Hira can’t stop teasing him about it.

The episode opens with Aqib, lost in the moment, moving closer to Aina – when Hira throws the door open and walks in. “Bhai, let go of Bhabhi, please! Mama is scolding me,” she says helplessly. Aqib’s mood is instantly ruined. “Okay, we’re coming,” he mutters, annoyed. But Hira is busy admiring Aina – how lovely she looks! “I wish there were a boy who’d snatch her away from Bhai and make her his bride,” she jokes, and Aqib grabs Aina’s arm: “O heer-e, slow down – she’s mine, only mine.”

Hira watches the two of them with amused eyes. “Bhaiyaaa… I was only joking. I know you love Bhabhi a lot – but this much possessiveness!” She tells Aina that her brother has never been so possessive about any girl. Aqib, smiling, ruffles Hira’s hair affectionately and tells her to send Haris to do his work – they’ll come in five minutes. Hira protests that he’s spoiling her hair, then hurries off.

Left alone, Aina looks at her hands in confusion, unsure of her own feelings. “You shouldn’t have said that in front of Hira,” she says quietly. “She’s your sister – what will she think?” Aqib’s answer is firm: “Anyone can say anything – do you think I’ll let them snatch you from me? She’s your sister… I just love you so much that I won’t let you go away from me.” Then he takes her hand and leads her out, though she barely has time to respond. “This is the second time you’ve held me so harshly,” Aina says softly, and Aqib, embarrassed, apologises – his mood was upset. On the stage, the two look beautiful together; people say they’re a perfect match, like the moon and sun. Then Yasir comes near.

This episode is full of romance and sweet family moments, and sets up the drama that follows in later episodes.
