Hum Nazar Se Utar Gaye Honge (Urdu: ہم نظر سے اتر گئے ہوں گے) by Yusra Shah is a long, complete Urdu romance and the second season of her novel Kab Hui Teri Mein Rab Jane Mera. It opens with a heartbroken man and a phone call he never wanted to take.

In the first scene a tall, broad-shouldered man is running hard on the treadmill in his home gym, his black vest soaked with sweat and his jaw tight with anger. He has been running far longer than usual, and the servant waiting with a towel can tell something is badly wrong – his master is usually cheerful, but today his eyes are red and the veins in his neck stand out. Then the phone rings. He checks the screen, hesitates, and finally answers with a cold question: when everything is already over, why are you calling now?

On the other end a girl is crying. Her eyes want to see him one last time, she says; please, just come once. His reply cuts deep – “Apni shaadi enjoy karo.” She begs him to stop taunting her: doesn’t he know she is majboor, that she had no choice? He refuses to accept it. “Don’t call your bewafai majboori,” he tells her, and with a bitter “Have a happily married life – bye,” he ends the call.

He switches off his phone so she can’t call again, hands it to the servant, and when asked whether he will have dinner, says he won’t eat tonight. With that silent, painful evening Yusra Shah sets up a story of separation, pride and misunderstanding – a love that ended on the day of someone else’s wedding, and a hero who is clearly not going to forget it easily.

If you’ve read the first season, this continuation picks up the emotional fallout; if not, the opening still works as a strong start to a story about heartbreak and second chances. Expect plenty of intense dialogue and dukh bhari romance.
