Rahy Mizaji Sy Ishq E Haqiqi Tak By Aymen Raza

About this novel

Rahy Mizaji Sy Ishq E Haqiqi Tak (Urdu: راہِ مجازی سے عشقِ حقیقی تک) by Aymen Raza is an intense romantic novel whose title traces a journey from worldly love to love of God. It opens with a girl running for her life.

She runs blindly, not caring about anything. She lost her slippers long ago, and the sharp stones of the rocky path have cut her feet till they bleed. She has fallen again and again, scraping her arms, elbows and hands. Men are chasing her, sure that their prey can’t escape this time. Ahead of her the ground drops away into a steep slope. With a well in front and a ditch behind, she looks up with tear-filled eyes, makes a firm decision in her heart, and jumps. Protecting her izzat matters more to her than anything, and she has come too far to turn back now.

عزت بچانے کے لیے اس نے ہر خطرہ قبول کر لیا۔

The next scene is just as tense. In a dark, crumbling room, a man named Shakoor sits tied up, begging to be let go and swearing he has done nothing. Fear of death is written all over his face. The man standing over him speaks quietly and asks why Shakoor ignored his warning, and his punishment is swift and merciless. Whoever this stranger is, he doesn’t forgive, and he doesn’t leave a job half-done.

Aymen Raza begins with danger and violence, but the title promises that this story is ultimately about change: how people who have lived by anger and desire can find their way, through love and loss, to ishq-e-haqiqi. It suits readers who like dark, dramatic novels with a message of redemption.
