Every day, the moment Warisha gets home from college, she heads straight to the kitchen and starts shouting, “Bhook lagi, bhook lagi!” Today is no different. She climbs onto the kitchen slab and loudly demands food: “Mama, bhook lagi hai, jaldi khana dein!” Her mother, standing right in front of her, just stares and tells her that patience is a thing too, though she doubts Warisha knows what it is. Warisha throws her arms around her mother’s neck and acts all sweet until her mother laughs and sends her off to freshen up.

At the dinner table, Warisha casually asks when Papa will be home. Her mother immediately gets suspicious. “Kya kaam hai?” Warisha protests that she can’t even ask about her own father, but finally admits the truth: she needs money, fifty thousand rupees. Her mother is shocked. Just two weeks ago, she took thirty thousand, so where did that go? “Mama, woh kharch ho gaye,” Warisha says calmly, still eating, and adds that her father would never refuse his little princess.

Anabiya Seher makes it clear that Warisha has been spoiled by too much love, because she is the only daughter. Her mother warns her that one day her father will stop giving her so much money, and Warisha laughs that her mother is simply jealous. She even teases her that she is scared of Papa, and her mother answers that she only worries about Warisha. When her mother asks where she got the money in the first place, Warisha bursts out laughing and says Papa gave it to her, of course. It is a fun, breezy start to a story whose title promises that the sorrow of love is waiting for this carefree girl.

بے فکری کے دن ہمیشہ نہیں رہتے، ایک دن عشق دل کا امتحان ضرور لیتا ہے۔
