The Vampire Aaron Part 2 by Tahbeer Khan continues her dark, romantic Urdu fantasy about Aaron, a vampire. Zulfa knows his secret and loves him anyway, and their story grows more dangerous.

This part opens with Aaron stopping the car at a quiet place far from the city. The two of them step out to find the whole area glowing with lights. It is very beautiful, and Zulfa says she has never been anywhere like it before; she has always loved places near the sea. She wonders how Aaron even knows about it, since it is so far from town, and whose house this is.

“Mera ghar hai yeh,” Aaron tells her. He lived here before. Zulfa says it looks brand new, as if it was built only a couple of days ago, and he explains that he has had it rebuilt in a new style.

Then Aaron walks towards the sea with Zulfa beside him. He sits on a rock, holds out his hand, and she takes it and sits down close to him. Looking deep into her eyes, he asks, “Tum mere baare mein kitna jaanti ho, Zulfa?” She looks back into his eyes and answers simply: that he is a vampire, that he loves her, and that she loves him.

“Yeh kyun pooch rahe ho tum?” she asks, and Aaron’s eyes begin to change colour. Zulfa notices and asks why his eyes are changing, and whether he is afraid of her. He says no, and she keeps looking into his eyes, unafraid. Tahbeer Khan keeps the tone romantic and mysterious, mixing love with the danger that comes with loving a vampire. Fans of the first part will want to see what this changing colour means for them both.
